Wishing Well Development, Inc. Brings Hope, Kindness, and Community to John R. King 💙✨

John R. King Academic and Performing Arts Academy was honored to welcome representatives from Wishing Well Development, Inc., an organization committed to supporting families and strengthening communities through compassion, service, and care.

Led by Executive Board Member Lennon Martin and CEO and Chairman Dianne Martin, Wishing Well Development, Inc. provides vital support to families affected by violence, incarceration, military deployment, and other forms of separation and loss. The organization also assists families who may not have access to counseling and grief support services, helping them navigate difficult times with dignity and hope.

Throughout the school year, Wishing Well Development, Inc. has made a meaningful impact on the John R. King community. One of their special projects involved students creating heartfelt cards for senior citizens. Through this activity, students learned the importance of kindness, empathy, and giving back to others. The cards brought smiles to the faces of elderly community members and reminded students that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💌👵🏾👴🏾

The organization also surprised students with treats and juice, creating a day filled with joy and excitement. 🍪🧃 Seeing the smiles on students' faces was a wonderful reminder of how community partnerships can brighten a child's day and help create a positive school environment.

In addition to their work within schools, Wishing Well Development, Inc. is known for providing Christmas gifts to families in need, offering grief counseling support, and connecting families with resources that help them overcome challenges. Their mission is centered on ensuring that no family feels alone during times of hardship.
